Pastor Will Mercer is the Senior Pastor of The Mount (Mount Zion) in Haywood County. With over 18 years of faithful ministry experience, Pastor Will is a down-to-earth Gospel communicator with a genuine passion for real-life discipleship. He’s especially committed to helping young and middle-aged families strengthen their faith, build strong marriages, raise their kids, and navigate everyday life with purpose.
Pastor Will has been happily married to his wife Sarah for 14 years. Together, they are raising five wonderful daughters as they explore the back roads and mountains of Western North Carolina, discovering new fishing spots, and making memories outdoors.

Cody and Kayla Mashburn are the dedicated youth leaders at The Mount (Mount Zion) in Haywood County. They faithfully guide teenagers in authentic community and life-changing discipleship. Every week, parents love that their students are challenged through practical, relevant teaching and preaching that doesn’t just talk about faith — it equips teens to truly live a transformed life in today’s world.
Cody and Kayla are also proud parents of their beautiful daughter, Maeverly. As a young family themselves, they understand the real pressures teenagers face and are passionate about helping parents raise confident, faith-filled kids.
